ONTARIO, California (Monday, June 4, 2018) Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion®, powered by the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, has invited the West End Animal Shelter to participate in the annual event for 2018.   The public is invited to attend the 6th Annual Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion®, a two-day Cruisin’ Classic Car Show September 21-22, 2018.  “Our goal is to improve our economy by inviting visitors to come here, stay here, and enjoy a leisure or business trip to Greater Ontario.  Annual events like Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion provides a purpose to visit our region.” said Michael Krouse, President and CEO of the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau.  “We know our local community enjoys Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion as well and this year we are happy to welcome the West End Animal Shelter as our guests.  This non-profit organization has been providing a pet placement and adoption center since 1954. Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion is an annual event, held on the third weekend in September, is free to the public and encompasses approximately twenty-two city blocks with cars and hot rods parking and cruisin’ for two days along the streets of downtown Ontario, California.  This family friendly event is located on Euclid Avenue and the downtown streets near the Ontario Town Square, Ovitt Family Community Library, and Ontario City Hall located at 303 East “B” Street, Ontario, CA 91764.   From the popular Kids Zone with rides and games to the live concerts and unique food options, there is something for everyone at Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion.

Historic downtown Euclid Avenue becomes a mecca for hundreds of thousands of people each year for Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion.  This is an opportunity to introduce visitors to downtown Ontario, including the museums, playgrounds, quant neighborhoods, and local businesses.  Last year Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion proved to be a huge success with over 200,000 car enthusiasts and spectators.  Get ready to rumble Southern California – the Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion will be coming to town soon!
